Currently we seek a self-motivated, team player to join our Technical Support Group as an Intern.
The Technical Support Analyst Intern will work as a team member to assist with managing all aspects of Technical Services internal and external user support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Network/web administration, hardware/software services, problem documentation/resolution and project management.
- This includes: maintaining the user network/web environment keeping to standard and ensuring it is stable and business compatible and reviewing and recommending technical and application solutions to support critical business processes.
Technical responsibilities include:
- Answering and responding to as appropriate the technical support calls & emails
- Creating access ID's; supporting and installing software and hardware
- Managing projects
- Technical support administration (help desk requests, SPAM email filter review, Network Backup monitoring and support, documentation of procedures/issues/measurements, researching technology, inventory, and evening/weekend and holiday pager support)
Requirements for the Technical Support Analyst Intern:
- Qualified candidates will have at least 1-2 years of computer education focusing mainly on hardware and software with the following technologies in an integrated Windows, Web, Linux, Routers, PC Hardware, Networking, MS Office, Internet Explorer, Exchange, internet/intranet/extranet, remote access software (i.e. VPN).
Desired Technical Skills include:
- Must have demonstrated skills in troubleshooting system problems related to applications/software, hardware, network connectivity, as well as network administration experience with Windows for the Server and/or Exchange.
- To fill this role, the successful individual will possess the following competencies: customer-focus, communications & presentations skills, problem solving, prioritization, team player/team participation
